"We Are Not Broken" hopes to challenge traditional beauty standards and promote a more inclusive and accepting view of beauty. We aim to improve mental health around self-worth and self-hatred, while empowering women and girls to see the beauty and strength in their scars - SURVIVING CHALLENGES AND REDISCOVERING STRENGTHS.

The Who

By using photography and videography in this way, "We Are Not Broken" hopes to challenge traditional beauty standards and promote a more inclusive and accepting view of beauty. The process of being photographed or filmed can also be therapeutic for the individuals involved, as it allows them to confront and overcome negative self-perceptions while building their confidence and self-esteem. Through this approach, the "We Are Not Broken" nonprofit organization is helping to improve mental health around self-worth and self-hatred, while empowering women and girls to see the beauty and strength in their scars.

Ultimately, the "We Are Not Broken's" mission is to help individuals see the beauty and strength in their scars, and to promote a more inclusive and accepting view of beauty.
